1999

Jet Tec Australia formed to distribute Australia’s first high quality aftermarket inkjet cartridges imported from England. National accounts included Apple stores natioanlly, Pro Photographic retailers and the Cartridge World network, these retailers demanded products of the same standard as the original brands but with the ability to offer real customer savings on printing costs. Desktop and wide format paper rolls were soon added, along with Fax Ribbons, Bulk Ink for refilling , Toner cartridges, refilling accessories and equipment to recycle cartridges and give them a new life other than landfill at the tip. To this day the business is still recognised as the quality and integirty leader. All built on the foundations of searching for the best quality alternatives and honesty in testing and caring for customers.

1981

1981 – 1989 Sales, Marketing, Distribution and Production of traditional Photographic products. 1989 saw the introduction of early digital products and over the next few years digital image quality increased dramatically. At the time traditional photographic imaging industry opinion was that Digital imaging would never rival traditional photographic image quality. Launching the first 1 Mega Pixal digital camera in Australia that retailed for over $6000 was an exiting and ground breaking time and around the same period exclusively launched Motorola’s the first 56K modem. Scanners, data projectors, and imaging software were all added to the range, ending with the introduction of the first coated inkjet papers. Cartridges were soon to follow and due to their success, became our main business.
